Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use jainify.com or contact us, why, where it is kept, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Jainify ("Jainify", "we", "us"), an interior design studio based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you use jainify.com, contact us, or engage our design services.
We aim to handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (which are coming into force in phases), as well as the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it. Under the DPDP Act, Jainify is the "Data Fiduciary" for the personal data described here, and you are the "Data Principal".
In short:
- We collect only what you choose to send us — through our forms, WhatsApp, phone or email.
- We use it to reply to you and, if you hire us, to deliver your project. We never sell it.
- This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no analytics or ad pixels.
- Your "My boards" saves and theme choice stay in your own browser and are never sent to us.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time: contact@jain.software.

| Where | What we collect |

| Enquiry and consultation forms | Name, phone / WhatsApp number, email (optional), city, project type, approximate budget, and anything you write in the message box. |
| Cost calculator enquiries | The same as above, plus the estimate summary you choose to send with it. |
| Support form | Name, phone, email (optional), city, issue type, urgency and your description of the issue (including the project name or site address you give us). |
| Careers form | Name, phone, email (optional), city, the role and experience you select, and what you tell us about yourself, including any portfolio link. |
| Newsletter | Your email address. |
| WhatsApp, phone and email | Whatever you choose to share — for example floor plans, photos of your space or site address. |
Information recorded automatically with a form
When you submit a form we also record the date and time, the page you sent it from and your IP address. We use these to prevent spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many forms can be sent from one address in an hour) and to understand which page you were reading.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts jainify.com keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are rotated and deleted on a regular cycle.
If you become a client
To deliver a project we may also hold your site address, floor plans, photographs and measurements of the space, design preferences, billing details (such as your GSTIN, if you want a GST invoice) and our project correspondence with you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive data such as financial account numbers, passwords or government ID numbers through this website, and you should not send them through our forms.
How we use your information
We use personal data only for the purpose you gave it to us, namely to:
- reply to your enquiry, call or WhatsApp you back, and arrange a consultation or site visit;
- prepare estimates, proposals and quotations;
- design and deliver your project, including coordinating with the people working on your site;
- respond to aftercare and warranty requests;
- consider job applications;
- send studio notes by email, only if you subscribed — every email has an unsubscribe route, or just write to us;
- issue invoices and keep the records Indian tax and accounting law requires; and
- keep the website secure and free of spam.
We process your data on the basis of your consent — which you give when you send us a form or message for a stated purpose and can withdraw at any time — or for the "legitimate uses" the DPDP Act permits, such as when you voluntarily share information for a specific purpose or where the law requires us to keep it.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or automated decision-making.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Form submissions are saved on the web server that hosts this website, in a directory that is not publicly accessible, and are emailed to the studio's inbox so the right person can reply. Only Jainify team members who need the information to respond or run your project can access it.
We use a small number of service providers to operate, who process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- our web hosting provider, which stores the website, form submissions and server logs;
- our email service provider, which delivers and stores email; and
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there — WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to messages on its platform.
On projects we share only what is necessary — such as a site address, contact number or drawings — with the contractors, carpenters and suppliers working on your project. We may disclose data if required by law, a court order or a government authority acting lawfully.
Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram, Pinterest or LinkedIn take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies & local storage
This website does not set cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, and does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our fonts are served from our own server.
A few features use your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- Theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme;
- My boards — the images, materials and palettes you save to your boards;
- Tools — some calculators may remember your last inputs so you do not have to retype them.
You can clear all of this at any time from your browser settings (clearing "site data" for jainify.com), or remove individual items on the My boards page. If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then deleted — generally within 24 months.
- Client project records: kept for the duration of the project and its warranty period, and for as long as Indian tax, GST and accounting laws require us to retain invoices and related records.
- Job applications: kept on file for up to 12 months so we can contact you about suitable openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Spam-protection records (submission counts by IP address): automatically deleted within about two hours.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. On request, we will delete it sooner where we have no legal reason to keep it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase data we no longer need, subject to what the law requires us to keep;
- withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it (withdrawal does not affect anything done before);
- grievance redressal — to have a complaint about our handling of your data addressed; and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, email contact@jain.software from the address or phone number you used with us (so we can verify it is you). We aim to respond within 30 days, and in any case within the time limits set under the DPDP Rules. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children (under 18) through this website. If a child has sent us information, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable security safeguards: the website is served over HTTPS, form data is stored outside the public web folder, access is limited to people who need it, and our forms include spam and abuse protection.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we will act promptly to contain it and notify you and the authorities as the law requires. If you think your interaction with us is no longer secure, please tell us immediately at contact@jain.software.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change — for example as further provisions of the DPDP Rules come into force. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised; for significant changes we will also place a notice on the website.
